Community Centers
As part of the inclusion of the host community in the UNHCR-CODEC EPRC project, this year the initiative was taken to establish two "Community Centers." These centers are located in the Hnila and Whykong unions respectively, within the Teknaf Upazila of Cox’s Bazar. The names of these centers were chosen by the children and adolescents of the community. The center in Hnila is named "স্বপ্ন ঘর" (Dream House), while the center in Whykong is named "দ্যূতি" (Shine).
Through these centers, CODEC will provide child protection services and other relevant support to the surrounding communities. Additionally, these centers will serve as meeting places for children, adolescents, and community members alike.
