Child Friendly Space

The child-friendly spaces were designed and constructed during the initial stages of the Rohingya Refugee Crisis in 2017. The primary objective of this project is to provide safe areas for the most displaced Rohingya children to gather and play, thereby reducing their stress. Basic child protection services, such as psychosocial support, case management services, and outreach services, are provided through these safe centers.

Additionally, children congregate here to engage in various activities, including art, play, and reading. These structures were designed to offer an open, airy space for children, making them more appealing considering the dense living environments they inhabit. Moreover, their easily accessible, colorful structures made from local materials render them highly engaging spaces for children.
